Salt celebrates the natural flavors of things we savor. Salt makes most foods a little bit better. I feel like when I photograph weddings and special moments, I amplify the meaningful moments that are often just a photo-op, and make them just a little bit better, a little bit more savory and special. While I am legit in the business of helping you look realllly good and amazing, the brag shots aren’t what keep me going! It’s witnessing friends and family and lovers celebrate one another out loud, it’s a unique moment unlike any other occasion in life.

Couples that make it personal have me at hello. Personalized vows or written declarations of love at the altar, singing a song to one another on stage, a flirty first dance, a bridesmaids flash mob, a clever prank, a genuine moment of public gratitude to a parent, the antics of a hyper ring bearer or furbaby. Anyone can replicate cool decorations and style, but no one can replicate the way a wedding is intentionally and uniquely personal.

Multiple generations together on a dancefloor, forgetting to be fancy and formal, embodying the joy of a good song is just so so so precious. Life can be hard, families go through so much over the years, but on nights like these… they come together and DANCE!
